Sponsorship is the most dependable way to care for a child. It lets us plan school terms, keep medicine in the cupboard and say yes when a child needs something, without waiting for the next appeal.
You can give toward a specific need or toward the general fund. Either way, your gift goes directly to the children in our care.
- School fees, exam fees and uniforms
- Books, shoes and school supplies
- Food and household essentials
- Medical care and counselling
- Updates on the difference you are making
Bring what you already know.
You do not need to be an expert in child welfare. A patient tutor, a football coach, a musician, a nurse or someone who can fix a door is a gift to this home.
We welcome volunteers in person and remotely. Tell us what you enjoy doing and how much time you have, and we will find a useful way to involve you.
- Tutoring and homework help
- Music, art and sport
- Mentoring and career guidance
- Health and counselling support
- Practical help around the home

Questions, answered.
A few things supporters ask us most often. If your question is not here, please get in touch. We are happy to talk.
Still unsure? Email [email protected] or call 0717 750 821 and we will help you find the right way to give.
How does child sponsorship work?
A monthly gift is pooled toward school fees, food, medical care and the everyday costs of raising a child. You will receive updates on the home's progress, and you can ask us about current needs at any time.
Can I choose which child to sponsor?
We keep sponsorship focused on the home rather than singling out individual children, which protects their privacy and dignity. If you would like to support a specific need, contact us and we will tell you what is most urgent.
Can I visit the home?
Yes. Please call or email ahead so we can welcome you well and protect the children's privacy. Visits are best arranged during school holidays and quiet hours.
Do you accept second-hand clothing and furniture?
We are grateful for good-quality items, but please contact us before dropping anything off. Space is limited and we want to receive every gift well.
Can I volunteer from abroad?
Absolutely. Remote volunteers help with tutoring, design, writing, fundraising and administration. Tell us what you do and we will find a useful way to involve you.
Are donations tax-deductible?
We are a registered community-based organisation in Kenya. We can issue a receipt for your gift; tax treatment depends on your country. Please ask us for the documentation you need.
Your gift changes a child's story
Your gift helps provide a safe home, school fees, food, medical care and hope for a child who needs it.
